Capsizing in Hudson River
Two individuals, including a youngster, kicked the bucket Tuesday
after a confidential boat upset in the Hudson River, authorities said.
A gathering of 12 individuals comprised of loved ones were on the boat when it upset
close to Pier 84 at around 2:45 p.m., killing a 7-year-old kid and a 50-year-elderly person,
who became caught under it, authorities said.
FDNY authorities said a few others experienced minor wounds
two are presently hospitalized and recorded in basic condition.
"This is an unfortunate day for New Yorkers," acting FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh said at a news gathering late Tuesday evening.
