China has penalized 27 people for depicting 'tragically ugly' in a math textbook.

Some of the pictures in this book were quite ugly and not pretty.

This book does not properly reflect the sunny image of China's children.

There were some yesteryears in this book with pictures of people with distorted faces and bulging pants, boys grabbing girls' skirts.

In addition to this there were at least a few children with an obvious leg tattoo.
